These are the first images that I have shot of her new ride and I am looking forward to taking more. The Aspen White color really makes the car pop in almost any location. The styling and modifcations are always helpful as well. Talk about a nice daily driver. Here are a few of my favorite snaps from her shoot.

2005 Supercharged GTO

Had a fun shoot a little while back with Ben's 05 GTO. This car is quite the sleeper, minus the whine coming from the engine bay. His car is making 550hp to the wheels and is a monster that keeps wanting more. Took some shots at some of our favorite locations and here are a few from our day out.

September 20, 2009 - World Tuner Challenge

Bandimere Speedway held this year's World Tuner Challenge on Sunday, September 20, 2009. The day started off as a warm, sunny, Sunday morning with a wide variety of vehicles entering the Speedway. Racers brought their daily drivers and some brought in their weekend toys on the trailer. The event had a car show and of course, lots of exciting side by side drag racing. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Street Concepts Meet

A local shop, Street Concepts, had a little gathering for the locals to all come out and show off their rides. There were tons of amazing cars, great people, tons of pizza and drinks and even a raffle with tons of awesome parts being handed out! Before the raffle, the shop owner, Tommy and some other guys and I snuck out to snag a few photos of their rides. The rain and time for the raffle cut the shoot short but it was an awesome event. Here are a few samples from the day.

Today we went for a little cruise with Dustin and his Mitsubishi Evolution VIII. We didn't shoot near enough pictures this trip though because I was driving my 1gb Talon as well. We traveled all through the back roads of Morrison, Kittridge, Conifer and other surrounding areas. Here are two of my favorite images of the Evo from the trip.

Something a little different - Jeep SRT8 - July 4, 2009

This fourth of July we started off with a red hot firework. This red rocket is a 2006 Jeep SRT8 rocking the big Hemi powered engine with 420 awhp that helps it explode off of the line and then cruises with great class to make all viewers say, "ooooowww and aawwweee!" The locations went very well with the car and the driver's taste. And with a downpour of rain the day before, it really helped add some style to the pictures. Here are a few favorites from our outing.

Snow/Mud Rally - 4-3-09

This was a really fun little cruise that we put together. We had a great turn out, and a wide variety of vehicles; ranging from an older MR2, some AWD turbo powered cars, and even a Range Rover. We brought the rover to be our recovery vehicle if things went bad and we got any of the cars stuck again. We brought a grill along this time as well to cook some brats which were amazing. None of the cars got stuck this time but both of the STIs that were there got flat tires somehow. We had a donut swapped onto one and it was still ripping but the other STI had to be towed out due to the lack of having an accessible donut (custom subwoofer box was in the way, WOOPS!). It was a great time and I thank all who attended. Now, on to the mess, enjoy!

2003 Evo VIII GSR - 2-6-09

The 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution VIII GSR owned by Thomson is quite the car to see and even more of a great car to ride in. With numerous bolt on modifications for more power, upgraded suspension parts for better handling and some exterior additions makes his Evo stand out from the crowd. Although his suspension makes the added front lip so close to the ground that we had to do some very strategic maneuvers to get through parts of town. It wasn't a long night out this time, but we were able to snap a few shots of his Evo in Denver on a moderate February evening that are visually appealing.

A Little Dirt Mixed With a Little Snow 1-15-09

This gathering was arranged on very short notice. We were please with the turn out given the circumstances; driving in mud, dirt and snow and whatever else that we came upon. We had a good variety of cars as well ranging from an Evo VIII, IS300, Baja, WRX, and a little 2.2 Impreza. The event was a very good time even when two of the cars were lost in the snow ditch. Nothing was harmed on the cars or drivers which is always an added bonus. Here are just a few favorites from the adventure.

Short Notice for the AWDPirates 12-30-08

This little gathering was called late one afternoon to gather some locals to shoot some shots down town again. The weather had been so strangely nice for late December that we decided to get some images of some new cars. The turn out was pretty good and we got to meet some new faces. Although, the warm weather decided to leave that night while shooting and it turned out to be rather cold. Still got some good images in some original locations though.

It was another great evening with some great people yet again! Chad Spjuth (STi), Dustin Cook (S4), Ricky Vigil (VR4), and myself (TSi) met Sunday afternoon with the cars prepped and ready to be shot! We started off with a nice cruise through denver with the loud exhaust sounds followed by BOV's echoing off of the tall buildings surrounding us. We were led all through Denver yet again with some great people. We actually met up with some of our bicyclist friends for a little and we even made friends with some really cool Federal Police Officers! Although, the security guard at Union Station wasn't so cool. It was another great night with some even better results!

Rainy day with number 464/2000

So, today was quite the day; filled with rain, puddles, potholes, loss of traction even with awd, lots of driving and oh yeah, lots of shots of Ricky's Galant VR4 in the rain! It was a fun day for sure! The outcome of the rainy day seems to have turned out fairly well! I am hoping for a much nicer day soon so we can get some more shots of his great car! Well, I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images from our adventures today!

June 29, 2008 - Aspen White and Obsidian Black Pearl

Our most recent event was a drive and shoot with Chad's Obsidian Black Pearl STI and John's Aspen White STI. It started off with a cruise down 6th Avenu where we were able to click a few shots off of John's beautiful car. Then the rest of the night we were led all around Denver finding many new locations for both still and motion shots.

May 22, 2008 Obsidian Black Pearl & Urban Gray Metallic

This shoot started off early in the morning so we could try to beat the harsh sunlight. We met at the gas station to fuel the cars and ourselves with some energy, ie monster, red bull, amp, anything to get us going.

After fueling we were on the road in a two car caravan headed south on highway 285. What a beautiful drive we had up through the foothills and finally stopping in Conifer. We were blest with some clouds to help get us some open shade lighting which helped greatly. I had a great time and we ended with a good amount of images to work with!

May 9, 2008 - World Rally Blue & Obsidian Black Pearl STI's

Another great night shoot with some nice cars and great people. We traveled around Denver to find some new locations. Some of the great locations we found, we were unable to shoot at which was quite unfortunate because they would have been excellent! Although, the spots where we were able to shoot at, turned out great as well!

April 25 2008 - Ubran Gray Metallic & Obsidian Black Pearl STI's

This was a fun and somewhat experimental shoot for me. We went to some of our old locations to get some new shots. The alley was used again so we could get a shot of Chris' new car to try and make it resemble the great shot we got of his previous 04 WRX. We were also starting to experiment with the rolling shots at night as well! The outcome from the night was great yet again!
